Another gem is the scenic Gulawat Lotus Valley known for its stunning lotus pond, walking trails, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The best time to visit Gulawat valley is from November till February, when the lotus flowers blossom to the fullest. The Patalpani waterfall, located on the outskirts of the city, is a popular picnic spot. Nearby, you can visit the famed Khajrana Mandir, which was built by Rani Ahilyabai Holkar or the Bada Ganpati Temple that houses an 8m-tall statue of Lord Ganesha.
Getting to Rajwada Palace is easy as it is located in the heart of Indore. You can take a taxi or auto-rickshaw from any part of the city to reach the palace. If you're traveling from another city, Indore is well-connected by road, rail, and air. The city's airport is 10 kilometres west of the city and has daily flights to major Indian cities. Two national highways, NH-3 and NH-59, intersect in Indore, and the city has a well-connected railway station. Buses are also available from the Sarwate Bus Station and Gangwal Bus Stop to various cities in Madhya Pradesh. The best time to visit Rajwada Palace is from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant.
